Note: After the publication of this case study, ZirMed merged with Navicure to form Waystar.
In creating a new website for ZirMed, a Louisville, Ky.-based provider of healthcare revenue cycle management software solutions, our priorities were clear.
We wanted to communicate the client's unique selling proposition as an industry leader, get visitors to the information they seek faster, and collect high quality sales leads along the way.
Where visitors to ZirMed's prior site faced a challenging route to their intended destinations, they can navigate the new site via a clear and intuitive path. They begin by identifying who they are by choosing from three distinct categories: medical services, organizations & physicians; hospitals & health systems; or billing personnel. After quickly refining their identity, the platform prompts viewers to choose the problem they want to solve and then funnels them through a single path to the appropriate solutions that align with their selections.

During this process, visitors are differentiated based on their user behavior — with those identified as future sales prospects prompted to complete a form that allows for easy curating and follow up. Others who are ready to take the next step are encouraged by a clear call to action: request a demo.

Along the way, the site provides ample opportunity for visitors to learn more about the benefits of ZirMed’s one-of-a-kind, end-to-end integrated software platform and to peruse an information hub called Insights & Resources, which effectively positions the client as a thought leader in their industry.

While the information architecture, user experience, and new selling tools are what really make the new site shine, the design is also noteworthy for its introduction of new colors to the brand, lending a warm and modern feel while maintaining a serious aesthetic appropriately suited for the healthcare software industry. In updating ZirMed's branding to align with their newly established in-house guidelines, we created new styles for its associated digital applications, as well.
