With a background and education in Marketing and Real Estate from the Wharton School and extensive experience in the private sector, Mark guides Eastern Standard’s client development initiatives and brand strategy projects.
Mark began his marketing career at a manufacturing corporation that specialized in custom enclosures for the aerospace and scientific communities, where he oversaw the successful expansion of the company into providing custom designed solutions for retail and architectural applications. Prior to co-founding Eastern Standard, Mark joined forces with David Wolf in 2006 to form Tabula Creative, where he served as Principal Marketer, overseeing a full spectrum of branding initiatives, print and web design projects, and marketing consulting services for clients in the real estate, service, arts, culture, and education industries.
Through our work, he has also gained a reputation as a leading arts marketing specialist in the region, offering innovative solutions for a challenging marketplace.
With more than a decade of experience in software and website development, Jim is the primary architect for the initial structure of Eastern Standard's technology projects and oversees our entire development team. He leverages his extensive experience to generate ideas, offer support to our developers and designers, and articulate practical solutions to any challenge that comes his way.
Prior to co-founding Eastern Standard, Jim founded Context, and worked as a lead project developer for Active.com, a software development consultant for GE, and a network operations technician at one of the Philadelphia region's first Internet Service Providers.
As Creative Director, David oversees all of Eastern Standard's design projects and our in-house creative team. He excels at utilizing design to engage audiences and is known for a signature adaptable aesthetic, the ability to manage large bodies of content, and the ability to uniquely identify and visually interpret client personalities and objectives.
David holds a degree in Graphic Design from The University of the Arts and has extensive training in traditional Swiss typographic techniques, with broad experience in pre-press, print production, and bindery. His prior work includes positions at some of the top industry design firms; Principal of his own firm, Wolf Design; and co-founder and Principal Designer of Tabula Creative.
With a diverse background in sales, account management, and business development, Vince has overseen operational management for Eastern Standard, including human resources, legal, and finance. Vince is credited with being the point person for initiating the original business development relationship between his former employer, web developer Context, and creative agency Tabula Creative, which worked together for many years before joining forces to form Eastern Standard in 2014.
Alex joined Eastern Standard's web support team as a graduate of Rutgers University with a B.S. in Computer Science. In addition to helping clients maintain top-notch websites during traditional work hours, he also assumes "on call" status to address unexpected situations that may occur during off-hours.
A graduate of Ithaca College, Alex's early career revolved around SEO optimization and a foray into online radio website design. As a Developer for Eastern Standard, he is well versed in designing, developing, and maintaining a wide array of websites that support optimal functionality across various platforms.
With a B.S. in Web Design and Interactive Media from the Art Institute of Philadelphia — coupled with strong agency experience building websites and digital applications for clients across a wide range of industries — Amanda infuses our developer team with a passion for problem-solving and a collaborative approach to creating beautiful interactive experiences.
A passionate digital producer with an “insatiable appetite for design,” Ana has expertly navigated both the creative and analytical world for large, high-profile brands like Live Nation, Puma, and Temple’s Fox School of Business — building a reputation for turning progressive ideas into actionable plans through high-level organization, efficient processes, clear communication, and effective strategy. Ana holds a degree in fine arts from The University of the Arts. In her spare time, she volunteers and partners with Hopeworks Camden and is on the Board of Directors for The Painted Bride Art Center.
With 15 years of experience in the UX field, Andrew has seen what happens when you design for people without getting to know them first. These days, he advocates for the user at every opportunity and loves crafting custom research approaches for unique problems. He has an M.S. in Human-Computer Interaction from Georgia Tech and a B.A. in English from the University of Michigan.
With a communications degree from Tulane University and a background in marketing research and strategy, Charlotte oversees various business development functions at Eastern Standard. Her creative and energetic approach helps to increase our client base and overall visibility through multiple channels.
A seasoned designer with a BA in Graphic Design from the University of the Arts, Crystal provides critical attributes of style and experience that make her a valued member of our core team. Crystal has been working with us since 2006, bringing production experience from a large-agency background.
With over 10 years of diverse experience in design, strategy, and branding — and particular expertise in visual and UX design — David creates work that is useful, usable, and beautiful. He holds a BFA in Graphic & Interactive Design from Temple University’s Tyler School of Art, with additional training completed at Tyler, Rutgers, and Cooper U.
Drew's strengths stem from multi-faceted agency and project management experience, as well as an intimate knowledge of the web industry. Not only is he well versed in designing contemporary UI/UX user interfaces that align with high-level and situational goals, but he also continuously updates his skills in the latest cross-browser and cross-device coding techniques, including semantic HTML/CSS, responsive web design, SASS, and grid layouts.
Greg’s web development experience includes contributions to high-profile animation-centric websites, digital marketing initiatives, and email marketing platforms for brands such as Anthropologie, Urban Outfitters, Terrain, and more. He holds dual B.A.s from Rutgers University with additional training at New York Code + Design Academy.
Ismael has broad-based design experience that spans the full spectrum of digital and print branding solutions for clients in higher education, as well as specialty niche markets. He is passionate about collaborating with developer and brand strategy teams to create standout web solutions — taking ideas from concept through information architecture, wireframe, design, and prototyping. Ismael holds a BFA in Graphic Design from the University of Florida.
Jayna bridges the gap between clients and teams with equal parts knowledge, intuition, and creativity. Through a variety of digital producer and strategy roles, Jayna has worked with high-caliber clients like Campbell’s Soup, Starr Restaurants, and the Wharton School. She holds a BBA in Entrepreneurship & Marketing from Temple University.
A Drexel grad, Jeremy holds a BS in IT with a minor in Interactive Digital Media. He brings to the Eastern Standard team his cutting-edge knowledge of programming languages and frameworks, as well as a solidly well-rounded IT background honed through high-profile and fast-paced help desk support positions at both Drexel’s Tech Lounge and the University of Pennsylvania Annenberg School for Communication.
Jessica is a certified full-stack developer with an equal commitment to creating appealing designs, functional solutions, and user-friendly applications. This self-described “master of attention to detail” holds a B.A. in Media Studies & Production from Temple University, and prides herself on a strong ability to learn quickly and solve issues efficiently throughout the project lifecycle.
Having spent more than 10 years in account, project, and production management for creative agencies and studios in New York, London, and Philadelphia, Justin applies his deep experience in managing the creative development and production of print, outdoor, digital, broadcast, and website projects to a wide variety of Eastern Standard initiatives.
With considerable experience in freelance content creation and web design, as well as in-house email marketing and digital marketing outreach for organizations like the Greater Philadelphia Cultural Alliance and the Einstein Healthcare Network, Kelsey now oversees our wide array of digital content offerings. She holds a BA in English Literature from Binghamton University, State University of New York.
A Philadelphia native, Kyle has gained experience building and maintaining brand standards and visual aesthetics for high-profile institutions including The Pennsylvania Ballet, Whole Foods Market, and The Down Market. He's also built an impressive portfolio of original pen and ink illustrations featured in solo and group exhibitions and curatorial projects, as well as commissioned works. He holds an associate degree in graphic design from Antonelli Institute.
With a background in online journalism and a related degree from Temple University, Lisa assists Eastern Standard and its clients with editing and original content creation and management.
Since earning a B.S. from Philadelphia University in Fashion Merchandising and Management with a concentration in Brand Strategy and Marketing, Ryan has focused on building agency experience and honing skills in primary and secondary research and contributing to various brand strategy initiatives for high-profile clients that include Wawa, Western Union, and DuPont Sorona.
Sam is an experienced digital producer with a knack for keeping teams organized, maintaining specialized skills across multiple disciplines, and driving projects — whether small-scale digital initiatives or large global mobile platforms — from ideation to realization. A New York native, Sam holds a BA in Literary Studies from Beloit College.
As our key developer of company culture and facilitator of operations — from HR and recruitment initiatives to professional development and event planning — Toni is all about committing to innovation and respecting the process to get there. She studied at both Loyola University New Orleans and the Community College of Philadelphia.
