With a background and education in Marketing and Real Estate from the Wharton School and extensive experience in the private sector, Mark guides Eastern Standard’s client development initiatives and brand strategy projects.
Mark began his marketing career at a manufacturing corporation that specialized in custom enclosures for the aerospace and scientific communities, where he oversaw the successful expansion of the company into providing custom designed solutions for retail and architectural applications. Prior to co-founding Eastern Standard, Mark joined forces with David Wolf in 2006 to form Tabula Creative, where he served as Principal Marketer, overseeing a full spectrum of branding initiatives, print and web design projects, and marketing consulting services for clients in the real estate, service, arts, culture, and education industries.
Through our work, he has also gained a reputation as a leading arts marketing specialist in the region, offering innovative solutions for a challenging marketplace.
With more than a decade of experience in software and website development, Jim is the primary architect for the initial structure of Eastern Standard's technology projects and oversees our entire development team. He leverages his extensive experience to generate ideas, offer support to our developers and designers, and articulate practical solutions to any challenge that comes his way.
Prior to co-founding Eastern Standard, Jim founded Context, and worked as a lead project developer for Active.com, a software development consultant for GE, and a network operations technician at one of the Philadelphia region's first Internet Service Providers.
As Creative Director, David oversees all of Eastern Standard's design projects and our in-house creative team. He excels at utilizing design to engage audiences and is known for a signature adaptable aesthetic, the ability to manage large bodies of content, and the ability to uniquely identify and visually interpret client personalities and objectives.
David holds a degree in Graphic Design from The University of the Arts and has extensive training in traditional Swiss typographic techniques, with broad experience in pre-press, print production, and bindery. His prior work includes positions at some of the top industry design firms; Principal of his own firm, Wolf Design; and co-founder and Principal Designer of Tabula Creative.
With a diverse background in sales, account management, and business development, Vince has overseen operational management for Eastern Standard, including human resources, legal, and finance. Vince is credited with being the point person for initiating the original business development relationship between his former employer, web developer Context, and creative agency Tabula Creative, which worked together for many years before joining forces to form Eastern Standard in 2014.
